ON AIR PRIZE RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.galaxyfm.co.uk apply to the Love Music Love Mondays radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 11th May to Monday 8th June 2009 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is the Galaxy Network (Galaxy Manchester, Galaxy Birmingham, Galaxy Yorkshire, Galaxy North East, Galaxy South Coast, Galaxy Scotland)

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1) Details of the Competition

On air competition rounds will be between the hours of 10:00 and 23:59 on Monday 11th May, Monday 18th May, Monday 25th May & Monday 8th June.

On air competition rounds will be between the hours of 06:00 and 23:59 on Monday 1st June.

For the chance to play for the prize listeners must hear two consecutive tracks, in full, from that day’s chosen winning artist (Eminem, Pink, Britney etc).

On 1st June 2009, where there are multiple competition rounds, the on-air Presenter will state what the winning tracks are in advance of each round.  There will be 9 pairs of standard tickets and 1 pair of Blue Circle tickets to this event available to win throughout the day.

Should the two consecutive tracks fall between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 or 19:00 and 23:59 entrants must call the studio on 0845 14 82200.  Should the two consecutive tracks fall between the hours of 05:57 and 09:57 or 15:57 and 18:57 entrants must call the studio on 0845 277 7106. A caller will be chosen at random and taken to air to answer a general knowledge question.  If the contestant correctly answers the question they will win the prize, if they do not, another caller will be asked the same question and so on until the prize is won.

On Monday 11th May 2009 the on air prize will consist of two tickets to Eminem’s album launch in Detroit, Michigan, USA on 19th May 2009.  This will include 2 return flights from Heathrow, UK to the USA leaving 18th May, returning 20th May, 2 nights accommodation, travel insurance and £100.00 spending money per couple.  Train travel from the winner’s nearest major city to Heathrow will be included.  Transfers to and from the airport in the USA will be included.  Flight booking requires that we have the winner’s and their guest’s full names (as per their passports), passport numbers and their birth date by 14th May 2009.  Failure to provide these details will mean forfeiting the prize. 

Information on travelling to the United States: the winner will be responsible for organising their visa or other entry requirements into the US – either by completing the ESTA form at least 72 hours before departure, or arranging a visa.  Further details can be found here: http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/index.html

Please note: Eminem has neither confirmed a performance or his attendance to the launch party at this time.

On Monday 18th May 2009 the on air prize will consist of two tickets to see Pink in Sydney, Australia on 10th June 2009 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.  This will include 2 return flights from the UK to Sydney, Australia, 5 nights 3 star accommodation, travel insurance and £100.00 spending money per couple.  Return travel to and from the specified airport in the UK will be included.

On Monday 25th May 2009 the on air prizes will consist of two tickets to see Britney Spears in Paris, France on Sunday 5th July 2009 at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.  This will include 2 return flights from the UK to Paris, France, 2 nights accommodation, travel insurance and £50.00 spending money per couple.  Return travel to and from the specified airport in the UK will be included.  There will be 2 opportunities to win this prize.

On Monday 1st June 2009 the on air prizes will consist of two tickets to the 95.8 Capital FM’s Summertime Ball on 7th June 2009 at the Emirates Stadium, London, 1 night accommodation, travel to and from London from a specified UK city,  £50 spending money per couple.  There will be 9 pairs of standard tickets and 1 pair of Blue Circle tickets to this event available to win throughout the day. 

On Monday 8th June 2009 the on air prize will consist of two tickets to see Beyonce in New York, USA on 21st June 2009 at Madison Square Gardens.  This will include 2 return flights from the UK to New York, USA, 3 nights accommodation, travel insurance and £100.00 spending money per couple.  Return travel to and from the specified airport in the UK will be included.

Unless stated otherwise, for concerts outside the UK, flights could be from any UK airport.  Travel to and from the specified airport will be provided.

For travel to the UK gig the appropriate mode of transport will be selected by Galaxy dependent on winner’s location.

Accommodation for all prizes is a minimum of 3 stars

All winners must have a current and valid passport with at least six months left on it before expiry.

Winners must also be free and able to travel on the dates specified above, which cannot be altered.
